We are so pleased to have George home. Positive discussions were had at Birmingham children's hospital this morning. There is a new plan going forward, but unfortunately it is slow going. George is becoming more settled during the day thanks to medication changes and a 16 hour continuous feed is proving to be kinder on his gut. He is spending the majority of his days sleeping because sadly for George, his guts and dystonia cause him so much pain and discomfort throughout the night it is preventing him from sleeping. We are braced for a long night tonight as we have had very little waking hours today and It was gone 3am before he settled at the hospice last night. Fortunately we have respite care at home tomorrow to help break us back into life with George gently. Mikey jones the electrican has been out today prepping the electrical supply for the pool, ready for Mondays delivery. Several hours of work kindly carried out free of charge and he will be back out on Monday to ensure all is good during installation. Thankyou Mikey!

It's so bitter sweet

George was admitted into the hope house hospice for crisis care and to offer some much needed respite. It's so difficult leaving him...
